HSBC UK has been named the ‘UK’s Best Bank’ in the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024.
This award win builds on the recent success of being named The Banker’s UK Bank of the Year for 2023 in December 2023.
The award recognises the Bank’s strategy for putting customers first and finding new ways to support people and businesses at every age and every stage.
HSBC UK was also named the ‘UK’s Best Bank for Corporates’ in the Euromoney awards, which more than 600 banks from more than 100 countries enter every year, making it the industry’s most prestigious and comprehensive awards programme.
Ian Stuart, CEO, HSBC UK, said:
“I’m honoured that HSBC UK has been named the UK’s Best Bank overall as well as the UK’s Best Bank for Corporates in the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024.
“It’s been another fantastic year of delivering for our customers. We focussed on our strengths - supporting personal and business customers at home and abroad, enabled the tech and life sciences sector with the launch of HSBC Innovation Banking, helped our customers to transition to net zero, and we’re working with each other to bring more of our bank to our customers.
“In doing this, we continued to play an important role in supporting the financial health of our customers and the broader UK society. I want to say a massive thank you to our customers and the colleagues that support them”
The two UK award wins are among 33 award wins for HSBC Holdings Group globally, including the World’s Best Bank for Payments and Treasury, Public-Sector Clients and Sustainable Finance.
